Q:Are we just reselling another providers connection?

A:M247 maintains and run a privately owned European network. Like every provider we have to get the physical fibre into your building. For us to do this we need to take this final part from one of the main infrastructure providers. Once this is installed then we take the traffic across our own network and out to the internet. We work closely with the following providers – BT Openreach, KCom, C&W, Colt, TalkTalk Business, Virgin, SSE and Exponential-e.

Q:Can I increase the committed bandwidth during the length of my contract?

A:So you ordered a 10/100Mbps connection at the start of your 3 year contract. Things have gone well and your demands have grown. You really need to upgrade to 30Mbps, but are contracted at 10/100Mbps for 3 years. No problem! We can upgrade you and won’t extend your contract period either. We will just ask you to sign a contract variation and then raise an invoice for the difference in costing for each year that is left in your contact. The change will take around 15 days.

Q:Can you provide data centre space as part of my contract?

A:Imagine what you could do if you made our data centre look like it was part of your local network. You could run offsite backup servers that could see all of your equipment as if it was in your premises. Of course we can provide space, or even just web hosting if that is what you are after. Q:Can I decrease the committed bandwidth during the length of my contract?

A:So things have changed? Maybe you need to reduce costs, or your site has downgraded their requirements. It can sometimes be possible to reduce your commitment, but the best route is to just give us a call and we will see what we can do to help.
