Environment and Ethics Policy
M247 Ltd. and its Divisions recognise the need for companies to operate in a manner which limits undesirable impact on the environment. Indeed, to assist us in meeting our objectives to minimise our carbon footprint, we are actively engaged in reducing the energy we consume and are pioneers of highly efficient climate control technology on our datafloors and office accommodation.
We strive to comply with all environmental legislation, codes of practice and guidance produced by regulatory bodies, where these relate to our environmental aspects.
We encourage our staff to observe appropriate efficiencies in the recycling of materials and careful use of resources in both work and home environments. This is actioned by recycling packaging material and IT hardware as per the WEEE Directive. In general terms we use energy, water, materials and other natural resources as efficiently as possible, giving particular regard to the long term sustainability of consumable items.
Insofar as we are able, we ensure that purchases are not made from companies or countries where there is an exploitation of human rights and we ensure that the environment is considered in the procurement of goods and services and also the goods and services we provide to our customers.
This policy will be communicated to all employees and organisations working for or on behalf of M247 Ltd.
These objectives will be documented, allocated targets, monitored and reviewed. The results of which are communicated throughout the organisation and to our clients, suppliers and contractors, where appropriate.
This policy will be reviewed annually by the Directors and where deemed necessary will be amended and re-issued. Previous versions of this policy will be archived and are available upon request.
