Manchester-headquartered Internet infrastructure provider M247 is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of leading Web Hosting company ‘UK Web.Solutions Direct’ (UKWSD) for an undisclosed seven-figure sum. The all-cash deal will see M247 take over ongoing Web Hosting service agreements for in excess of 15,000 websites and allows the existing owners of UKWSD to pursue and focus on their other interests, following a period of transition.
This is the ninth acquisition for M247 over the past 10 years and represents a continuation of the company’s strategy of consolidating the UK’s highly fragmented web hosting market. UKWSD customers can look forwards to enjoying the benefits of M247’s extensive experience, support team and industry-leading infrastructure as well as access to the wide range of M247 products and services.
