In recent months, M247 has been gearing up to better provision the Business Sector with a broad range of connectivity, dedicated servers and colocation, hosting and security products and there has been a number of new Director posts created to help develop robust new structures that will help the company cope with growing demands.
Paul Sillars, who previously acted as Managed Services Director now takes on the job of Sales Director and will split his time between our two Manchester datacentres and the Kidderminster building where our data security and managed services operation is based.
James Smith who has been a Board Director since 2005 now takes on the role of Executive Director with a list of new responsibilities including the important job of customer liaison and developing relationships with our larger business clients; commercial activities including pricing structures and contract review as well as the very important role of ensuring new customers are provisioned with their services on time on budget. This will be increasingly important as we provide more products and services to fulfil this market sector.
To help James dedicate time to this demanding position, Ian Harris, previously Director of Axamba Limited, who M247 bought last year and absorbed into its business offerings, has been promoted to Customer Support Manager and takes on the vital responsibility of ensuring that support issues are dealt swiftly and properly.
As was announced in a recent news release, Warren Ashcroft, former owner of Red Fox, the successful hosting company bought last month by M247, takes on the important job of reshaping all of our shared hosting offerings so that they address the requirements of all of our customers from the smaller office and domestic level, right through to our SME and larger customers.
