Following hot on the heels of our recent acquisition of ICT Support company Axamba last month along with its hosting arm, Web Tapestry, we are pleased to announce that we have acquired yet another well-known hosting company, Red Fox.
In an amicable deal that has been very beneficial for all involved, Red Fox can now enjoy the benefits of being part of M247, a much bigger business operation that is well funded and with growth plans extending well into the future for our two carrier neutral datacentres.
Warren Ashcroft, former owner of Red Fox, joins the M247 team and will operate from our Manchester headquarters. As well as harnessing the considerable weight of the M247 technical support team to help keep Red Fox customers happy, Warren joins M247 at a pivotal time and will be able to reshape all of the shared hosting brands to help consolidate them under the M247 banner.
M247 Managing Director David Buckle says, “We welcome Warren’s contribution to our company. His technical ability is highly respected and he brings with him approximately 20000 high value websites which M247 will now host and support. Warren is a very personable individual with skills that will be important to our future. His success with Red Fox customers will assist greatly in his role as Shared Hosting Manager”.
All Red Fox customers have been notified of the acquisition and reassured that this represents a positive move. Already Warren has received a significant flow of messages from customers supporting his decision to join M247 and begin to offer them the many advantages that this deal opens up.
Warren says, “I’ve known and dealt with M247 for many years and have always experienced a positive relationship. I’ve watched M247 grow at an impressive rate and, after considering a number of growth opportunities, only M247 shone out as the best option for the good of my customers and for the business and for the personal development opportunities presented to me for a secure future”.
